back to the grind stone

here i am, back at school. feeling mildy apprehensive about a couple of things, but in general ready to get this semester started. i now must get back in the habit of doing some mega practice time on the piano. the sfa chamber orchestra will be playing a mozart concerto and i will be their soloist. and since that is on, like, march 3! i better get moving. of course i've already learned it, but i didn't really even practice over christmas break and i'm a little rusty on it. other than that, the only thing i'm really very apprehensive about is this music accoustics physics class i'm taking. it's a "distance education" thingy (even though i'm on campus and the lab is on campus. how weird is that?) and i'm not entirely comfortable yet with how it's all going to be done... but i'm sure everything will work out. to any family and friends out there - yes, thank you for your congratulations - i'm finally in the blog world. if reading about these little tid bits of my life is the absolute most boring thing you've ever seen, feel free to let me know. i'm sure i can chant some sort of entaining nonsense to please you. but now, since it has already reached the unearthly hour of 8:30, i need to do some reading and get ready for bed. stay tuned, i WILL be back! maybe even with some more interesting news. till then, tata!
