HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!

today is indeed that very special day. we actually celebrated yesterday, with yummy chicken. of course there was chocolate cake. mom got some fine gifts, including an electronic laminator, an umbrella and matching sun cap (go figure), and a framed 8x10 of some beautiful flowers from the arboretum. :-D

mom was very pleased with her cake, and having stephen sitting next to her...

then stephen saw us licking the candels and decided it looked good. except... he's more into biting than licking. he couldn't understand why we liked it so much.

papa quickly took charge of the cake...then mumzy opened her gifts, including the best of all - a red umbrella!!!
