Sunday

i forgot that micah was leaving for a geology trip this weekend, so i missed the 10 o'clock service this morning. but thomas came and got me for the 11 so it's all good. had an ok, but not impressive lunch at grand central station. then went to wal mart and lowe's to try to find some materials for our (ever and i's) next physics project. also got in some volleyball.

apparently that poem is a real tear jerker. now i've made girls (actually only one girl) cry by my piano playing and my poetry. so far no one has been able to interpret the meaning. i sent it off to dear dr duncan to ask for his critique. i'm sure i broke a great many poetry rules, and i know it doesn't have any rhyming pattern, but i'm actually rather pleased with the analogy.

had quite a tastey meal of chinese tonight, and good times with micah and thomas and abigail and anna.

agh! 8 am is rushing toward me. i'm fleeing to the bed now. good night!

panegyric \pan-uh-JIR-ik; -JY-rik\, noun:1. A lofty, formal composition or speech in praise of someone or something.2. Formal or elaborate praise.

no, the poem is not about praise.
