Chime Update III

the chimes are done! i have suspended all the pipes from a little round piece of wood, and hung the knocker complete with a little wind catcher (aka coaster) at the bottom. it looks pretty awesome. and it sounds good too. pretty good. my room mate still isn't back (i hope he's okay) so i was able to do it all in our room without being concerned that i was keeping him awake. so the chimes can keep me company tonight, blowing and tinkering away in the gusty, air-conditioned night air...

of course pictures are in order, but that can wait till tomorrow. or later today that is. :-P now i just need one more thing. that's a good grade on this project.
