Hi

figured i should go ahead an mention that i am still alive, and doing great. i did survive the tests (which was so remarkable. i was sure i wouldn't make it...). i did faint, once, during the music history exam. but i was revived with a splash of someone's orange juice to the face. then dr unsworth messed up and basically gave us the answer to one listening example. "here let me play it for you again. oh woops, wrong one, that was from the first act... i mean, oops..." *head in hands* (out of all our listening examples there was only one opera with more than one act, therefore that one word eliminated all other possibilities).

i just MAJORLY slammed that elbow nerve on the desk. oooow? yes.

i was videoed (that is awesome. that word, not the fact that i was videoed. which is awesome. i mean...) teaching a piano lesson. it went well. at least, i think it did, right now, when i haven't actually seen it yet. at least i wasn't nervous.

time to go make some drpepperorangejuicedelight and MAKE SOME GUITARS!!! yeah baby.

prevaricate \prih-VAIR-uh-kayt\, intransitive verb:To depart from or evade the truth; to speak with equivocation.

Journalism has a similar obligation, particularly with men and women suddenly transferred to places of great power, who are often led to exaggerate and prevaricate, all in the name of a supposedly greater good.-- Stephen R. Graubard, "Presidents: The Power and the Mediocrity", New York Times, January 15, 1989

Congrats on surviving. :)

If the Lord will allow me some rest tonight, I'll wake tomorrow being able to rejoice about the same thing...

Bye, my friend!
