the end of the semester is here and i have lost my motivation. for a lot of things. including this blog. so i apologize in a complacent sort of way for not posting in so long. i just finished my first final today, in piano pedagogy. this morning i slept two hours late and lost my piano ped book and nearly freaked out. thankfully heather brought a completed study guide and mr ajero also posted some useful tidbits online. the test ended up being way easy. i better get an A. or i will be Angry.

my beard is growing again, for those of you who don't see me on a regular basis and would actually be interested in knowing. i'm thinking of going for the jack sparrow look. maybe i should pretend to be a pirate for an entire semester.

tomorrow i have my piano jury. wed i have spanish and music history. then i'm done. DONE!!! FINISHED I TELL YE!!! of course i need to teach a piano lesson on thurs. but that's no biggie. and on thurs night i have guitar building. which i love. and can't wait to do without homework hanging over my head. and then christmas break. i shouldn't even say that too loud or i might explode. i'm going to start jogging and exercising again. as well as eating. i'm afraid finals is doing it to me again. my smallest pair of jeans were loose this morning.

my room is a mess.

i might get a prize tonight. i'll let you know more about that later.

One is left with the image . . . of a lonely, aging dictator "still searching for something that is impossibly elusive," still haranguing his audiences, yet incapable of recognizing the flaws of the system he has created, and presiding over an increasingly ossified regime and society.-- Stanley Hoffmann, "Power Unshared and Total", New York Times, November 30, 1986

Jordan, I think that has happened to a lot of us this semester since we've been going like CRAZY! We ALL need a break!!! I hope that you have some downtime to just relax. That'll be nice!

Since my life is boring, and I have nothing better to do than read blogs, you should update. Consider it your contribution to the "Making Paige's Life A Little Less Boring" campaign.

*grin*

Happy Birthday, again. :p
