I am your father

the race was great. the race was cold. and bryan ran bare-foot. what a crazy. i got 6th place overall (i honestly don't know how many people entered the race. less than 100 i think). i was first in my age category (19-24). for this distinctive placement i received a red jingle bell which they placed around my neck. i was proud to wear this chiming award of gloriousness. my "packet" also included a couple of tiny bells and a regions pen and a jingle bell run long-sleeve t-shirt. that made my day for sure. if i sound sarcastic its only because i'm tired. i'm actually quite sincere. that didn't sound sincere. oh well, can't be helped.

went to karen's apartment for a party, where we played games and ate tasty things and exchanged gifts. i was the proud recipient of a darth vader helmet and mask. it even has a microphone and speaker on it so you can talk like vader. tonight heather had a personal vader escort for protection on her way to the car. "he" was wearing a black shirt and trench coat, and breathing quite heavily. it was scary, let me tell you. i could hardly restrain myself from laughing. hopefully there will be pictures available soon. actually, there are some on facebook, but you don't get the full effect without the trench coat. i must have my bed now. goodnight.

i'm sorry man, but i think you're so scary already that a vader mask could do little to change ya.
