Quotes
if i can figure out my template well enough, the list of "recently overheards" will be appearing soon. i will also add a little commentary at the end of each one to make it a little more interesting. there may be a couple that "you would have to have been there" to understand. but they'll still be entertaining, especially for those who were there. but stay tuned, for this next exciting addition...
watched mr and mrs smith yesterday. those of you who read abigail's blog will notice that she wrote about it too (she and anna were right accross the aisle from me). i went with sam and seth and their parent's, but we didn't get to sit together cuz the place was packed. but the movie was hilarious. it was definitely brad who kept the thing together. after it was over we were commenting on how easy it is to watch brad pitt. he fit smoothly into the role. i thought he did a good job anyway.
went bowling... but we only got to play one game. so without a warm up we didn't do very well. next time i think we're going to do about 3 hours or something and get a bunch of playing in!
ah well, i have things to do. must do something productive besides blogging today.
"A faint crepuscular light extending beyond the cusps of the planet."
--G. F. Chambers, Astronomy
HUH?!?
crepuscular \kri-PUS-kyuh-lur\, adjective:
1. Pertaining to twilight; glimmering; hence, imperfectly clear or luminous.
2. (Zoology) Flying in the twilight or evening, or before sunrise; -- said certain birds and insects.
ooooohhh... now i understand...

ladies and gentlemen, please forgive the cryptic form of my new list. the html is giving me fits. i wonder if it has something to do with blogger. all i do is put in some divide commands to separate the quotes and it puts half of them on the side where i want them, half of them at the very end of the whole page, as well as all the previous posts and archives list, and puts the words "oh hi!" just to the top left of my profile pic! so i tried to put extra squigglies and stuff in there to separate the quotes and my comments to the statements. hope you enjoy.
besides making a recently overheard list, i have also just added jeanne (ellezymn) to my list of friends. she has an awesome blog which i come highly recommended from me, if you want some entertaining reading. todays post is a must see. :-)
your heart valves have cusps. the right atrioventricular one has three, hence it's called the tricuspid valve. the left atrioventricular valve has two; hence it is the bicuspid valve, aka mitral valve.
the end.
i was going to tell you how correct you are, and thank you for clearing up the other tough word in that sentence, but then i realized that i would be making 3 out of the 4 comments to my own post...
i miss you on aim.
Hahaha, nice. Love the quotes.
oh good! i was hoping someone would! ;-)
argh!! i just noticed that i too have succumbed to the terrible crime of posting with someone else's user name. this is the very first time, and definitely the last time.
